Masterworks I: Iberia will feature the World Premiere of Beethoven in Spain, composed by GSO’s own Michael Kasinger. Pianist Anton Nel joins the orchestra for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, known as the “Emperor” Concerto, and Maestro Saeverud will lead the orchestra in Manuel de Falla’s exotic Suites No. 1 and 2 from The Three-Cornered Hat Suite.
