Make a Difference
The GSO's Annual Fund is what makes our season possible. Ticket sales cover only a fraction of what it costs to put a professional orchestra on the stage of The Grand 1894 Opera House eight times a year.
Your gift pays the musicians. It pays for the music. It brings internationally recognized soloists to this island, and it keeps every seat free for a student who has never heard a live orchestra before.
Season 48 opens September 6. On October 25, our Music Director steps from the podium into the soloist's chair for the world premiere of a new violin work commissioned for this orchestra. None of that happens without the people who give.
Every gift matters, at any size. Thank you for keeping the music alive on Galveston Island.
Prefer to send a check? Make it payable to the Galveston Symphony Orchestra and mail it to 1700 Strand Street, Suite D5, Galveston, TX 77550. A check costs us nothing in processing fees, so a little more of your gift reaches the music.
