Free Student Tickets

Every Galveston Symphony Orchestra concert is free for students. Middle school through high school, Galveston ISD, private schools, homeschool, all of it. Bring a parent or another adult with you and they come free too.

You don't need a teacher, a form, or permission from anybody. You need the code.

How to use it

Go to tickets.thegrand.com, pick a concert, and enter the code at checkout. Or call The Grand box office at (409) 765-1894 and give them the code over the phone.

The code covers up to four free tickets, which you can use for students and the adults coming with them.

Reserve at least 24 hours before the concert. The box office cannot issue student tickets on the day of the performance.

All Season 48 concerts are Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM at The Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice Street. Doors open at 3:00.

This program is grant-funded. There is no cost of any kind to you, your family, or your school.

Teachers, directors, and group leaders

Bringing a class or an ensemble? Don't use the code. Call The Grand box office directly at (409) 765-1894 and they will book the group and seat your students together. Chaperones and transportation are covered.
