Summer Youth Orchestra Camp

GALVESTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Summer Youth Orchestra Camp

GSO’s Summer Youth Orchestra Camp gives young musicians the opportunity to learn from professional musicians and teaching artists, rehearse together, and perform as an orchestra.

Students participate in rehearsals, sectionals, masterclasses, and music activities, culminating in a Youth Symphony concert for family, friends, and the public. The program supports GSO’s commitment to music education in Galveston.

Who Can Participate

The camp is designed for students ages 10–19 with at least two years of playing experience in strings, brass, woodwinds, or percussion.
